The glorious comedy of YouTube spam.
Something different for you today. I’m a huge lover of films so I spend slightly more time than I should watching trailers on YouTube. I’ve noticed recently that operators of websites streaming movies (almost always illegally, and normally run out of the Far East) have gone to considerable effort to promote their sites through YouTube comments, and the results are properly, endlessly hilarious. Here are a few of my favourites:
- About ‘I am Love’ with Tilda Swinton: ‘This is WoW movie! Very simple story, but totaly different acting, action, fear factor… In my opinion, I think this is a perfectly acceptable romantic comedy. Great story that came up with the idea of friends with benefits :-). Watch it, I am sure thumbs will be up for this. It is at *********’
- About ‘The Social Network’: ‘This is something totaly awesome!! I hope you will have a nice time while watching this. I did, full time long.. This movie has something different, I actually can not find the right words to explain this, so I will let you see it on your own. If you wish, I recommend ******** for free watching.’
- About ‘Certified Copy’ with Juliette Binoche: ‘Great movie.. got everything and very entertaining, amazing performances from all especially the young girl. The eye patch is on the other eye to the orignal film … See it now on ************* and enjoy..’
- About ‘Black Swan’: ‘best movie I saw in a long time ago…I really enjoyoed and I find the best lately and simply…find this 0n ********* for freee….This isn’t one of films that you are get irritated by…’
- About ‘The King’s Speech’: ‘This film is fantastic start for your day!! I love characters. If you ain’t got this you are missing out! If you enjoy watching the TV series you will seriously enjoy this movie. If you decide to believe me and try to see this, you can see it on **********! Go now!’
I love it. I’m glad to hear that there was a King’s Speech TV series, that I won’t be irritated by Black Swan, that Certified Copy has an eye patch, and that I am Love is ‘perfectly acceptable’.
