For quite a while I’ve been irritated by noise in my photographs. I tried everything; I shot manual, I shot auto, TV, AV, did countless googles and read and re-read my books. Eventually I blamed my PC, for its crap screen.
But what I never thought to do was flick the ISO down from 400 (which I thought was perfectly acceptable), to 200. That changed EVERYTHING. No noise, even in low light, a forgiven computer and a much happier camera.
I’m sure you all worked this out ages ago. But if your ISO is not at 200, for god’s sake change it.
